Reclaiming Sexuality and Intimacy for Survivors of Sexual Trauma

Healing from adult or childhood sexual victimization is a long and difficult journey. Where can you begin to reclaim your body and sexuality? Explore how sexual violation impacts on body perceptions, self esteem and relationship with physicality and sexuality.

This crucial workshop offers how to begin to regain safety, trust and personal power. We will discuss boundaries and triggers, including flashback management and dissociation. We will offer strategies for reclaiming emotional intimacy, inner fire and healthy self-love.

We will reflect on body identification, empowerment and self esteem as it is impacted by abuse. We will discuss shifting sexual preferences, sexual fluidity, choices and lifestyles and the connection with healing and personal truths.

Sexual imagery, media and societal triggers will be examined as well as the fallout from surviving pornography and online sexual exploitation.

Candid information and discussion around masturbation, sex and intimate relationships, risk taking, pregnancy and childbirth. We will also discuss gynecological issues and safe roads back to embodied sex.

This is an honest, respectful, confidential and critically important workshop for all those on their healing journey and for those who accompany survivors on their healing journey, both personal and professional.
We offer small, private groups in a safe, comfortable environment.
